On 22nd November 2023, the Wellspring physiotherapists went on CBR outreach to the St Monica Birongo Health Centre. Around 100 villagers, together with health centre staff, attended a seminar on the nature of disabilities and the needs of children suffering with disabilities. The children attended were assessed as to their rehabilitation needs, and 34 children with cerebral palsy were put on the CBR physiotherapist lists for rehabilitation and social care. These outreaches are to take place once a week for the next 3 months, in 4 different venues.
